Founded in 2010, Creative Arts Theater was formed from the minds of Tim and Cherie Glisson, the very couple who were quite the star players in the High Desert Theater scene a couple of years ago! After an extended sabbatical from the Theater world, they created the very theater company you’ve seen today, Creative Arts Theater! Creative Arts Theater was created to provide up and coming stars of the craft with Scholarships and to further the education of the younger actors and actresses by way of experience on stage. Creative Arts Theater is for all ages from 5 – 500!
Lauren Taines is a multi-talented individual who has been involved in many facets of the entertainment industry. From performer, manager, talent scout, adviser, producer, and consultant she has a long history in the rock music scene of LA. She recently re-released “Fat Fandango” by Joey Covington (Drummer – Jefferson Airplane) through Cleopatra Records. She is currently managing and advising Alvin Taylor and Fall of Silence. She is also co-owner of the legendary eatery Barney’s Beanery in West Hollywood.
